How do I make a booking for your mobile bike workshop?

If you have a particular time in mind then make a booking in advance, but we often have spare servicing slots throughout the day. If you are in a rush let us know - we will always try our best to get you rolling as quick as possible

Do I need to bring my bike to your workshop?

Cranks NZ will come to you with our fully equipped mobile workshop

Where do you operate?

Cranks NZ services Queenstown and surrounding areas including Arrowtown and nearby communities.

Our van is a fully operational bike workshop so we can come to you anywhere in Queenstown, and start work immediately

Do you service e-bikes, MTB or kids bikes?

Our Queenstown based mobile bike mechanic can service any bike. Whether it’s a high-performance MTB, a kid’s bike, or an e-bike, we’ll be happy to take a look.

What types of services do you offer in your mobile bike mechanic workshop?

Repairs, cleaning, tune-ups or full overhauls for all kinds of bicycles including e-bikes.

How long does a typical repair take?

Smaller repairs may be completed quickly, while more complex repair or service overhaul jobs may take a few hours, especially if parts aren’t immediately available.  We have a minimum call out time of 1 hour.

How often should I service my bike?

Most bikes should be serviced every 6–12 months depending on usage. Mountain bikes ridden on Queenstown trails may require more frequent servicing.

Do you sell bike accessories & parts?

Yes we do!  We have a limited selection in stock but can make a special order for most brands. Just ask us.

Do you offer warranty on your repairs?

Cranks NZ offers warranty on repairs in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).  

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and card payments on completion of each job. Our invoicing system also allows us fully contactless payment if needed.

Can you give me ideas on how I can maintain & care for my bike?

Absolutely. Years of experience and true passion for bicycles make us more than qualified to offer specific, actionable advice that will help you get the most out of your bike.
